Wren Buse, MT-BC
Music Therapy
Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Wren Buse (they/them) completed their degree in music therapy from University of the Pacific in 2020. After finishing their internship with the Snohomish County Music Project in 2021, Wren is excited to be a part of the Insights team. Wren believes that all people deserve access to community, music, and self care. Wren’s music therapy practice is influenced by community music therapy, body liberation, health at every size, cultural responsivity, social justice, and their experiences from their own lived identities. Their clinical work has centered on providing mental health support to youth and adults, with a focus on supporting the LGBTQ+ community and developing a body-affirming music therapy support group for people living in larger bodies. During their free time you can find Wren crocheting, playing games on their Nintendo Switch, working on music, or hanging out with their dog, Henry.
