Tracy Robinson is the mother of three girls, 16-21 (2 are in college in California, and the youngest is a sophomore in high school). She studied Criminal Justice and obtained her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from Indiana University, in 1998. Tracy began her career working as a pre-sentence investigator for Lake County Probation, in Crown Point, Indiana. She then obtained her Crime Scene Investigator Certificate from Kaplan University, in 2012, and continued her career in the field of Forensics. In 2014, her brother-in-law was diagnosed with Bipolar and was put on a medication; however, due to complications he passed away. Her family then opened a center, Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to research and study all forms of mental illness. She also made a vow to him to continue her education so that she could help others who were also struggling from mental illness. Tracy has a dual master’s degree. She obtained her masters in Forensic Psychology, at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology; and in law, at the Santa Barbara Colleges of Law. She received her first job offer working at New Castle Correctional Facility. She ran group therapy for 128 inmates who had a diagnosis of a severe mental illness/disability (i.e. borderline personality disorder, bipolar/schizophrenia, major depressive disorder etc.). Tracy has worked as a behavior consultant (BC) for the past few years and she also teaches Welle, which is a behavioral model. Tracy’s career is her passion and she puts her heart and soul into her work. Tracy is looking forward to beginning her journey with Insights VCS!
