Sam Brooks has been working in the human services since 2010, after taking a position working inpatient with acute mental illness. In the years that followed, he gained experience working with diverse populations contending with a variety of mental health, developmental, and socio-economic challenges as a group home manager, direct support provider, administrator in mental health care, and certified de-escalation and conflict resolution trainer. After attaining his MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020, he took a position as a Behavioral Consultant. He is passionate about empowering others to achieve their best lives via respect, being genuine, unconditional positive regard, and a collaborative approach.
