After graduating from high school, Mike Cary began working in a state operated facility as a psychiatric attendant for two years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental illness. Mike transitioned with many individuals from the facility into residential sites located here in Indiana. He remained there for seven years working directly with individuals as a direct support professional. He obtained his undergraduate in Business Administration from Indiana University East in 2010 and accepted a position with a case management provider. Mike worked as a case manager for roughly a year. After leaving case management, Mike worked as a qualified intellectual disabilities professional for four years with a small provider. While working full-time and raising a family, he completed the ABA program at Ball State University in 2014. After completing his Master’s Degree, he began working as a behavior consultant.
He enjoys helping others and making a difference just as much today as he did in 1996 when he graduated from high school. Mike will secure supervision of practicum hours so that he can obtain a license of Board Certification Behavior Analyst!
