Judy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and she previously worked as a Behavior Consultant for 15+ years. She graduated with a double major from Purdue University in 2005 with a BS in Child Development and Family Studies, and a BS in Psychology. In May of 2005, Judy began working as a Program Director for a residential company working with individuals with I/DD living in group home settings. In September 2006, she transitioned to a role as a Behavior Consultant through the sister company of the residential provider she had been working for. In 2010, Judy obtained her MS in Counseling and Counselor Education through IUPUI. During this time, she also completed internships/practicums in the school setting as a guidance counselor, with a primary focus in the middle school setting. In May 2021, Judy completed a program at Butler University to become certified as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Judy’s specialty areas include, behavior management, depression, anxiety, anger management, mood disorders, and child/adolescent/family concerns. She utilizes CBT along with other evidence-based practices in her work and enjoys working with clients of all ages.
