
Jade Presnell, MS, LSW
BEHAVIORAL CONSULTANT
Jade Presnell graduated from Butler University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and English. Upon graduating she pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Psychology at DePaul University. Throughout her educational training she spent the majority of her time working as a direct care staff in various residential settings for youth and adults with emotional and/or behavioral difficulties. After receiving a Master of Science degree in 2009 she spent two years working as a family therapist providing support and services to families involved with the Department of Child Services. This position eventually led her to the realm of community mental health where she has worked since 2011 in a variety of arenas, including outpatient and residential treatment. Jade’s most recent endeavor includes working to obtain a Master’s in Social Work, which she is expected to complete in May of 2016. Jade has a special interest in working with adults living with serious mental illness, specifically Schizophrenia and fully embraces recovery-oriented, strengths-based practice in her work. Jade came to work with Insights in 2015, as she enjoys supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. When Jade is not advocating, serving, or studying, she enjoys traveling to Central America, playing with her dogs, and having fun with her family.
