Cassi graduated from Xavier University in 2007 with a degree in Special Education. Immediately upon graduation, she began teaching at Ben Davis High School. After a few years, she completed her Master’s program in School Counseling from Butler University, which she graduated with high honors from in 2013. Cassi received training and has worked with a variety of age ranges in grief and loss, previously volunteering at Brooke’s Place. She then worked in another district to assist in developing a transition program. In 2016, she left her role as a transition teacher to work with individuals on the waiver as a behavior consultant. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gaming, and cross-stitching.
