Stacey completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Services in 2009, with a focus in both sociology and psychology through IPFW. She worked two part-time jobs initially doing visitation facilitation and direct support for individuals in the waiver program. After being offered a full-time caseworker position for a residential provider, she pursued a career of helping support individuals with intellectual and developmentally disabilities, dually diagnosed with mental illness. She worked her way to assistant director of 24-hour residential supports and structured family care over the next four years. In 2013, a family move to Ohio meant new employment. With her love of the Indiana Medicaid Waiver system, she pursued case management and continued to work with individuals in east-central Indiana over the next four years. In 2018, she completed her Master of Science in psychology through Indiana Tech, with the end of goal of becoming a behavior consultant with Insights. Stacey enjoys advocating and supporting individuals however needed, because everyone has the right to live a happy, loving, and independent life. Stacey also enjoys family time with her husband and three-year-old daughter.
