Matthew has over 15 years of experience in the field of mental and behavioral health, working with children and adults diagnosed with mental and developmental disorders. He has worked as a home-based, school-based, and as an outpatient therapist with numerous community health centers. He has experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, school and transitional issues, self-esteem, grief/loss, trauma, and family conflict. He specializes in helping preteens, adolescents, and adults discover their personal strengths, and find joy and hope throughout their everyday lives while also collaboratively work with couples and families to strengthen their relationship and optimize family goals. Matthew holds a BS in Psychology from Illinois State University (2003) and a MS in Mental Health Counseling from University of Louisiana at Monroe (2015).
