Janell grew up in Northern New York and completed her Master’s Degree in Music Therapy at SUNY New Paltz. Her music therapy experiences have been primarily with people with developmental disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc. She also has experience working in the mental health field. Before she married and moved to the Dayton area, she loved her time working in Indianapolis, and now commutes into Richmond, IN, as well as holds a few teletherapy sessions from her home. Janell is passionate about helping people reach their goals via music therapy sessions and adaptive music lessons. During her free time, she enjoys singing in the Bach Society of Dayton choir, directing the choir of her church congregation, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
